Save by using Ordinary Pass or Spend a bit more for Green Pass? (17 Day Itinerary)

Hi everyone,
I'm coming into the final stages of planning my October trip, and just need to buy my JR Pass. I used Google Maps to check fares to see if a 14-Day National JR Pass would be worth it, and was hoping to get an opinion:

Looking at this, I think it might be worth spending a little extra for the Green Pass. Even though I know I won't be able to get those green cars everywhere, I'll be spending a lot of time going between cities. The prices I've found were from Google Maps (Unfortunately the JR Fare Calculator kept timing out on me, so I abandoned it).
I'm planning to buy this straight from the official site, so that I can book them online. My understanding is that if I buy it through a travel agency/third-party then I can only reserve seats at the station or through a kiosk, so if this is the only way to reserve seats online, then I'm willing to pay a bit extra.
Thoughts? Please let me know if I've overlooked anything.

I recovered from Covid and got my first and last Moderna jab: who's going to issue my green pass? The teeny tiny QR on the Impfpass doesn't seem to be readable and my positive test was issued in Switzerland and doesn't have a QR anyways so it takes a sentient being to state that positive test + one shot = fully vaccinated. I did the shot on June 10th (the doctor acknowledged the recovery and canceled the second appointement) and didn't get any QR from the Impfzentrum (Erika-Hess). Thanks for your help!

Go to a pharmacy and they'll do it there. Bring the positive PCR + proof of vaccination.

Hi Everyone,
Fun project I have been working on recently - Green Pass.
Following the recent events that took over our world as we know it, there seems to be more and more public places that asks you for your "Green Pass" which is basically a vaccination certificate.
NOTE - This tweak REQUIRES ACTIVATOR to work. without Activator you wont be able to assign a gesture to show the image
So - instead of searching for that document every time - you can use "Green Pass" to quickly show your certificate to whoever may ask for it. of course it can be use for tons of other ideas you can come up with (driving license, ID card or a picture of your beloved dog that you seems to miss within 10 minutes without a hug)
Among the things you can do with this tweak:
- once the image is displayed, you will be able to resize/rotate/move it
- click a button (you can make it go away by long pressing it or cancel through settings) to choose another image on-the-fly from your gallery (recently pictured code or w/e)
- one-tap on the image itself will make it go away.

I thought the green pass was only given to people that have received a vaccine in an EU/EEA country. As these vaccines are not given anywhere in the EU/EEA, this should be a non issue.
Where can I get the Green Pass for Italy?

I'm going to Italy in September and looking to this green pass app since it will be needed to enter most buildings. I just have the CDC vaccine card. Am I supposed to carry the card around and just show it or should I be submitting documents somewhere to get this app? Also, is this green pass different from a EU Digital COVID Certificate?

I’m also going to Italy in 2 weeks. I found multiple official sites that all said the CDC white card is accepted as well as the green pass. So carry your card around, get copies, and digital copies.
